What is Interpretation?

Interpretation is real-time oral translation between languages, enabling communication between people who don't share a common language. Unlike written translation, interpretation happens:

Types of Interpretation We Offer

Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)

What it is: Interpreter joins via video call (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
Best for: Complex discussions, document review, visual context needed
Advantages: See facial expressions, share screens, show documents
Pricing: from $95/hour (1-hour minimum)

What it is: Interpreter physically present at location

Interpretation Modes

Consecutive Interpretation

How it works: Speaker pauses every 1-2 sentences for interpretation
Best for: Medical appointments, interviews, depositions
Accuracy: Highest — Interpreter takes notes, delivers complete message

Simultaneous Interpretation

How it works: Interpreter speaks at same time as speaker (with slight delay)
Best for: Conferences, large meetings, presentations
Equipment: Requires specialized equipment and booth

Sight Translation

How it works: Interpreter reads document aloud in target language
