Very good service, thank you so much 😊

American Sign Language (ASL) is a distinct language with its own grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances. An ASL interpreter will sign, using ASL, what is spoken in English and voice into spoken English what is signed in ASL. ASL is conveyed through facial expressions, body movements, and the shape, placement, and movement of the hands. It is the primary sign language used in English-speaking North America. Not all Deaf and hard-of-hearing people use ASL; some use a combination of ASL signs and English signs, home signs, or foreign sign languages, while others may not use sign language at all.
VRI for ASL allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing to communicate with a hearing person via videoconferencing instead of live, on-site interpreting. VRI is useful when there is a lack of available qualified interpreters or when an interpreter is needed immediately. Note: we offer ASL only through VRI at this time.
