Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Certified & Notarized Translation Services — Canada, USA & International Clients
-
What is a certified translation?
A certified translation is a document translated by a qualified, certified translator who signs and stamps the translation and provides a certification statement confirming its accuracy.
Our certified translations are accepted by:
- IRCC (Canada Immigration)
- WES, IQAS, ICES, CES, ECA evaluations
- USCIS (U.S. immigration)
- Universities, licensing bodies, courts, and government agencies
- ICBC
-
Are your certified translations accepted by IRCC?
Yes. IRCC accepts certified translations completed by a Canadian-certified translator, regardless of your country of origin or where you currently live. IRCC will accept your documents as long as the translation includes a certified Canadian translator, signature & stamp, and a certification statement.
-
What types of documents do you translate?
We provide certified translations for birth certificates, marriage certificates, driver’s licenses, academic transcripts, WES credential documents, legal documents, immigration papers, and more.
-
Are your translations accepted by USCIS and U.S. federal authorities?
Yes. For U.S. immigration, we provide USCIS-compliant translations completed by ATA-certified translators. Notarization can be added if required by the receiving institution.
-
I live outside Canada or the USA. Can I still use your translations for IRCC or USCIS?
Absolutely. IRCC and USCIS do not require you to be physically in North America. We accept documents from anywhere and deliver certified translations digitally. Our service is 100% online — no need to mail originals — and accepted worldwide.
-
Do you provide notarized translations?
Yes. We provide notarized translations for countries or institutions that require an added level of authentication, including EU countries, India, China/Hong Kong/Taiwan, the Middle East, Australia, and foreign universities and courts.
-
Do you provide apostille or legalization services?
We provide instructions, but the apostille/legalization must be completed by the client. Once notarized, your translation is ready for authentication with your local embassy, the Government of Canada authentication office, or your country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
-
How long does a certified translation take?
- Standard delivery: 48–72 hours
- Urgent service: Same-day / 24-hour (available for most documents)
-
What types of documents do you translate?
We translate all personal, legal, academic, and corporate documents, including:
- Birth certificates
- Marriage certificates
- Police certificates
- Passports
- Degrees & transcripts
- Driver’s licenses
- Legal & court documents
- Business contracts
- Immigration documents
-
Do you translate documents for WES and credential evaluation?
Yes. Our translations meet the requirements of WES, IQAS, ICES, CES, NACES, and all major credential evaluation bodies.
-
Do IRCC or USCIS require notarization?
No. Most applications only require a certified translation, not notarization. We add notarization only when your institution specifically requires it.
-
When do I need a notarized translation?
You only need a notarized translation when the authority requires the translator’s signature to be verified by a notary, or when there is no certified translator available for that language and a notary must verify the translator’s identity. You do NOT need notarization for IRCC, USCIS, WES, Canadian universities, U.S. universities, or most applications within Canada/USA.
-
Do you accept documents by email or WhatsApp?
Yes. PDFs, photos, and scans are all accepted. You do not need to mail original documents.
-
I live outside of Canada. Can I use your translation services?
Yes. Clients across Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands) use our certified translations for IRCC, USCIS, WES/credential evaluation, universities, and legal submissions.

-
Are your translations guaranteed to be accepted?
We use only Canadian-certified translators for IRCC, ATA translators for USCIS, and recognized professionals for legal and academic translations to meet institution requirements.
-
Do you provide general (non-certified) translations?
